Bradley Jay

For my sins, I forgot to write about Bradley Jay's work when I first saw it at Brighton's Graphic Design & Illustration 2011 Exhibition.

His detailed ink drawing, collages and photography includes themes from religion, alchemy, astrology, botany and folklore, reminiscent of macabre art and medical illustration.

Jay's illustrative style takes influence from such artists as Gustave Dore, Harry Clarke, William Morris and Albrecht Durer with the outcome being a style which is uniquely his own.
