Brecht Evens
Brecht Evens caught my eye via 'it's nice that'. And as they say, "he's an extremely able cartoonist with a knack for beauty."
His colour wash and multi layered approach to illustration is soft enough to create eye catching compositions, whilst detail enough to hold up alongside the comic stories.
It would seem we're not alone in admiring this mans work as his latest comic 'The Wrong Place' was recognised at the Angoulême comics festival, winning a prize for being daring.
