Honda: Interactive Dream Wall

This is a great digital installation from the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney a few weeks ago by agency DTDigital and Boffswanna.

Honda’s Interactive Dream Wall incorporated facial recognition software which extracted data from 6 specialised cameras in real time as the crowd was asked to smile to register a dream on the wall, with each smile helping to tell part of an animated story.

Fourteen computers were used to process the data from the individual cameras and to seamlessly display all the animations on one large screen 5.5 x 2.1 meters and made up of 24, 107 cm plasmas!

Overall they registered over 10,000 dreams on the wall over the event!
