J.K. Rowling Announces Pottermore
For Harry Potter fans, this will be the most exciting digital event ever, with J.K. Rowling having launched a new website called Pottermore. The site is open for pre-registration, and when launched on July 31st, will take on the first 1 million users, who are to be weaved into the core of the site, shaping the entire experience, before its official launch to the world in October 2011.
The site will uncover exclusive, unpublished content from the entire series, along with secret background information on the characters as users read interactive stories with a multi-million person community that is expected to register with the Pottermore.com site.
