Nokia N8: World's Smallest Stop Motion Film
This is a great little stop motion campaign for Nokia, created by Aardman and W+K called “Dot.”
It was shot entirely on a Nokia N8, with its 12 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics and is officially the worlds smallest stop motion character, at just 9mm. The entire set was no more than a metre and a half long, painted under a microscope by expert modelmakers and animated using tweezers!
It hasn’t gone viral just yet (it’s been online for about 3 weeks) but almost all its 200,000 views have come in the last 3-4 days, so there is a pretty good chance it will get picked up soon.
