You may have caught this during the Australian Open over the last week or so, it’s the official iPad app program guide.

The iPad App replicated the full 80 odd page tournament program guide and then threw in a few of the cool things you’d be expecting from a grand slam event app.

Features include - live news, live scores, plus player, celebrity and fan tweets, game schedules, current weather updates, ticketing information, foursquare check-ins and video highlights updated all day long through the a pretty cool looking data driven dashboard that was seemingly endless as you scrolled.

They also had a feature called “Tournament Talk” which was a visualisation of all the live tweets as they came in, that you could follow on the iPad app while also checking it out across the event where it was streamed to a number of big screens.
