As managing director Paul is responsible for the daily operations of They.Create and works with the team to realise our clients' full digital potential.

His experience ranges from business strategy to technical development, UX Design concepts, social media, and beyond.

Having been involved within the digital industry for over twelve years he has worked with a wide range of clients from art institutions like the National Gallery and Tate to Business Link and The Mayor Of London.

If not in the studio Paul can be found with his family walking their dog Zuma on the South Downs or enjoying a good pint of Ale in a country pub garden.

Jason Thomas

Co-founder & Head of Ideas

Jason heads up the creative digital strategy and user experience at They.Create.

His pedigree includes creation of online strategies and development of interactive user experiences for Jimmy Choo, Karen Millen, Whistles, All Saints, Design Council and the V&A.

A dedicated follower of the arts, he has taught digital design at Brighton University, been nominated for BIMAS, won IMA's and continues to play an active role in forging global creative partnerships.

Chris Andrew

Head of Organisation

Chris looks after the projects that make their way through our studio - ensuring that they are delivered on time, to specification and are of the highest possible quality.

Originally trained as an architect, he has worked in creative agencies for many years on the client service (dark) side.

Outside the office, Chris will happily sit down and play any piano he can find and is always on the lookout for a new country to visit.

Sam Tolton

Lead Developer

Sam is head of the code team at They.Create and manages all the technical challenges of a modern creative studio.

He studied Software Engineering at university and has been coding since he was a wee nipper. Sam has been with the company since it's founding and has helped it go from strength to strength.

Kerry Beall

Lead Designer

Kerry works within the design team deciphering initial ideas and developing them into fine-tuned concepts and exciting visual outcomes.

Since Graduating from the University of Brighton in 2008, Kerry has expanded her skillset from working within print by creatively combining her background and new found knowledge to enable successful, usable and aesthetically strong design solutions within the digital realm.

Kerry has a keen interest in type and Illustration which contributes to pushing new and fresh ideas to the forefront when working on new projects.

Andy Lambert

Lead Developer

Andy has come from the world of performance art into software development. How he managed it he's not quite sure but he'd like to tell you about it some time.

Holding an MSc in Creative Systems from the University of Sussex, he can often be found tinkering with ALife art, coding soft synths in SuperCollider and evolving artificial musicians.

Stefan Pearson

UX Developer

After freelancing and graduating in a creative computing degree at the University of Sussex, Stefan has learned to be diverse in multimedia with skills ranging from motion graphics and video production to software engineering.

His creative and technical background helps bridge the gap between visual design and application development within the team.

Outside of the office, Stefan is keen on photography and playing bass in any band that will have him.

Tony Aldridge

Developer

Tony is a developer at They.Create, working under the tutelage of Sam.

Born in front of a computer, he's known all his life that he's wanted to be able to point at something on a computer screen and say 'I made that!'. Tony's roots are in C++, and since then has learnt whatever language has been thrown at him.

Tony studied Computing at Open University, and has more hobbies than free time.

Josh Harrison

Interactive Designer

Josh grew up in his parent's art gallery (quite literally) and so, unsurprisingly, has a great interest in the visual arts. He also developed a home-brew social network whilst at secondary school which marked the beginning of a beautiful friendship with code!

Having just graduated from Graphic Design at the University of Brighton with an award winning final piece, Josh now enjoys working in the space between art, design and programming to produce engaging interactive pieces, and was invited to exhibit work at Brighton Digital Festival.

Josh loves reading, the sea, surreal films and playing synth in the band at his church.

Ed Lower

Finance Manager

Ed has been working as a finance manager in the media industry for the last four years and is responsible for taking care of all financial matters within the company.

He enjoys watching drama, gangster and super hero films, as well as listening to an eclectic range of music. Although fitness is not a strong point, you'll find Ed in the gym a few times a week to work off the naughty indulgences from the weekend.

Manuel Marcos

Mobile Developer

Having recently moved to England from Spain, Manuel is our resident Mobile Developer. He has gained his knowledge and expertise through a BSc in Information Technology and Project Management, and an MA in Mobile Application Development. Manuel was awarded a grant for research and development in smartphone technologies and new markets from the Spanish Government.

He is a sociable person that enjoys learning and challenging himself. When he isn't working, Manuel is passionate about sport, music and playing drums to any groove. He's also a dab hand at squash, after having beat everyone in the office.
