Fairlie Restorations

Brief

"A bold new emblem for a new era" was the clients brief, as the original dragon emblem had been associated with Fairlie since the early 19th century.

To celebrate a new breed of boat entitled The Niebla, a new identity was required to reflect the reinterpretation of a classic yacht.

Outcome

We set about streamlining the shape of a new dragon, eliminating overcomplicated and fussy details by replacing it with more dynamic and fluid stokes to define the figure.

In contrast to the other platforms we generally work in, the end result was carved into the side of the hull and inset with palladium.

It's a striking design for a bold new era!

They.Create managed to capture the spirit that embodies our brand and the sense of freedom it represents.
