Haunch of Venison

Brief

Working with our arts & culture publishing partners Cultureshock Media, They.Create was commissioned to redesign and develop a new site for leading contemporary art gallery - Haunch of Venison.

Outcome

Haunch of Venison had already established itself online but was limited to a desktop environment. With this in mind, a liquid layout was introduced that used responsive design to guarantee an enhanced overall viewing experience, regardless of what device you were using.

Viewers using desktop or cinematic screens could enjoy the benefits of larger images due to increased screen real estate, whilst tablet and mobile users were delivered a completely flexible experience through growing and shrinking layouts with vertical columns that capitalise on a devices guestures. Content could hide and reveal, affording the site a de-cluttered, clean and contemporary space upon which to promote the gallery.

The site is controlled through our You.Create content management software, (CMS) and hosted on our secure servers.
